The sewer line will be sunk more than 20 feet beneath the ground, and the installation will close different segments of the road at a time.
Lammers Road will be closed to through traffic between Fabian and Byron roads starting Tuesday, with the closure lasting through late July. Detour signs will guide drivers around the Lammers construction on both 11th Street and Byron Road.
The intersection of 11th Street and Lammers Road will remain open during the construction for through traffic eastbound, westbound and southbound, as well as for local traffic.
Residents who live in the Westgate subdivision can access their homes off Lammers Road from Feteira Way, Fabian Road or Westgate Drive, depending on which section of the street is closed. Access from Lankshire Drive on Byron Road and Montgomery Lane off Fabain Road will also be available for Westgate subdivision residents.
Fabain Road will remain open for most of the construction, except for a short time when the main sewer line connection will be made.
Any resident with questions or concerns about the road closure can contact the city engineering division 831-6400, or go to the city’s website www.thinkinsidethetriangle.com for updates on the construction.

"Goodbye MORE fields!!! Thank you city of Tracy for getting rid of more agriculture!"
Like in China, the City most likely took the owner's land at the point of a gun. Why do you dictate what an owner can legally do with their property?
"...I would like to know what happened to all of the coyotes that used to put me to sleep howling behind my house at night when I was younger before you "a**holes" starting building more houses!"
Do you use that term of endearment towards your husband and parents too?
Physically, by your online name, you can bear children though, mentally and emotionally you have not aged. You're still that young girl.
Purchase the properties you want to control, then feel free to do as you see fit.
I hope you can still hear the coyotes and not be hearing howling tires.
