Carly is a 2-year-old long-haired silver tabby. Rescuers call her “the queen of the rescue kitties, because she is so pretty and she purrs the loudest.” She gets along with well-mannered dogs and other cats, and she loves to chase rattling balls and race around the house with her playmate. • Animal Rescue of Tracy is a nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group that has pet adoption fairs for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays at the West Valley Mall. Members will also make arrangements to show animals in rescue during the week. For information: 642-4324 or www.animalrescuetracy.org.
