Tracy police received 205 calls for service Wednesday, April 20. The following is a sample of those calls.
12:16 a.m.: A restaurant clerk called to report three men left without paying a bill for $71.38 at Denny’s, 3718 N. Tracy Blvd.
3:20 a.m.: A woman reported she awoke to find a man inside her house on the 2400 block of Cabe Road. She said he ran out the back door.
4:49 a.m.: A caller reported seeing three men coming out of a vacant house on the 100 block of Hawthorne Drive. Police issued them a trespassing warning.
7:35 a.m.: A business clerk called to report the theft of copper backflow devices from Diamond Meat Company, 1915 N. MacArthur Drive.
8:12 a.m.: A caller reported a man masturbating in front of a house near the intersection of Holly Drive and Manzanita Lane. Police checked the area, and a family member arrived and said the man in question might have been off his medication.
8:27 a.m.: A woman called to report her 12-year-old daughter said her grandfather exposed himself to her six months ago in central Tracy. Police are investigating.
8:38 a.m.: A caller reported his father’s leaf blower was stolen on the 200 block of East 10th Street.
9:46 a.m.: A caller reported a suspicious man sleeping in a car behind the Tracy Thai Restaurant, 1035 N. Central Ave. Police checked and found he was the dishwasher of the restaurant.
9:48 a.m.: Police cited a couple of youths for trespassing in a vacant house on the 300 block of Redwood Avenue. The youths were released to their parents.
10:47 a.m.: A caller reported the theft of a 40-foot refrigerated cargo trailer from a business at 1050 E. Grant Line Road.
11:02 a.m.: A caller reported her daughter’s boyfriend was chasing her daughter on the 300 block of West Grant Line Road. She said he jumped onto her car and fell.
11:42 a.m.: A caller reported his wallet was stolen from the counter of a liquor store on the 2300 block of East Street. He said the theft was caught on the store cameras.
2:22 p.m.: A caller reported someone cut down trees at MacArthur and Yosemite drives.
3:12 p.m.: A caller reported gang members in Lamb Alley, just off Lincoln Boulevard. He said they weren’t doing anything, but they did look suspicious. They were gone before police arrived.
3:23 p.m.: A woman called to report someone damaged her fence on the 100 block of West Clover Road. She said someone drove through it and threw things at her. Police checked and found the incident started over an SUV parked on the caller’s property.
3:29 p.m.: A caller reported a man asked his child if he wanted to buy some marijuana near Alegre Drive and Misquez Way. He said it happened when he was walking home from school.
4:08 p.m.: A caller reported her window was broken on the 2600 block of Holly Drive. She said she thought a tenant might have done it.
4:28 p.m.: A caller reported a man vomiting on the side of a residence on the 3200 block of Balboa Drive. He said he heard the man say he will never drink again. The man was gone before police arrived.
4:43 p.m.: A caller reported someone sprayed graffiti inside a vacant house on the 200 block of West Carlton Way. Police checked and found someone painted inside a closet and that it was a civil matter.
5:12 p.m.: A caller reported a teenager on a bicycle just overturned a portable toilet near 11th Street and Lammers Road.
5:46 p.m.: A caller reported his car stereo was stolen outside Walmart, 3010 W. Grant Line Road.
7:01 p.m.: A caller reported two parents were fighting during a baseball game at Talley Park, 1440 Dove Drive. One parent reportedly pushed another parent, but the victim did not want to prosecute.
8:09 p.m.: A caller reported someone broke into his house on the 200 block of East 21st Street.
10:12 p.m.: A woman called to report someone rewired her car on the 500 block of West Carlton Way. She told police someone was trying to blow up her car and that she found white residue on the car. She said she is the ex-girlfriend of a Hell’s Angels motorcycle club member and that this might have been a Mongols motorcycle club member who was after her. A certified mechanic said the car was not rewired. The caller reportedly cut every wire in the car.
