Tracy police received 166 calls Monday, April 11. The following is a sample of those calls.
1:52 a.m.: A woman called to report she heard footsteps on her roof on the 100 block of East Beverly Place. Police checked the area and found no one.
2:25 a.m.: A hospital official called police to report a man in the emergency room who might have been involved in a fight on the 1400 block of North Tracy Boulevard. Police spoke to the man, who refused to provide them any information.
6:42 a.m.: A caller reported a 1991 Toyota Camry was stolen from the 1400 block of West Beverly Place.
6:45 a.m.: A caller reported graffiti at Tracy Flooring on the 100 block of West 11th Street.
8:09 a.m.: A caller reported her ex-boyfriend broke into her garage on the 300 block of Rodeo Way. She said her friend’s Kia Rio was stolen Monday after her ex broke the lock on the garage side door.
8:42 a.m.: A caller reported a burglary on the 1400 block of Schleiger Drive.
9:10 a.m.: A caller on the 600 block of Tennis Lane reported her stepdaughter used her information to purchase a cell phone at a Verizon store. She said the girl purchased $600 worth of merchandise without her permission. Police are investigating.
9:18 a.m.: A caller reported someone broke into her car and stole the center console on the 500 block of Allisha Lane.
9:38 a.m.: A caller reported that a student at Tracy High School needed to be cited for assault on the 300 block of East 11th Street.
9:49 a.m.: A caller saw a man cutting through a fence with bolt cutters near Beechnut Avenue and Sequoia Boulevard. He was gone before police arrived.
11:30 a.m.: A caller reported someone left a wheelchair in her driveway on the 1700 block of Wilson Avenue. Police picked it up and returned it to the First Presbyterian Church.
11:52 a.m.: A caller reported graffiti on a fence near Bessie and Whittier avenues.
12:18 p.m.: A caller reported a man was sitting in his car with a knife in his lap at Thoming Park on the 1000 block of Cambridge Place.
1:27 p.m.: A caller reported a man going up to vehicles asking for money near Tracy City Hall, 333 Civic Center Plaza. Police issued him a warning.
1:50 p.m.: Police arrested a 47-year-old man on outstanding warrants at the 1800 block of West 11th Street. A caller reported the man was loitering, and police found warrants for him after checking his identification. He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
1:53 p.m.: A caller reported graffiti at Vibrant Care Rehab on the 1900 block of North Tracy Boulevard.
2:48 p.m.: A caller reported a fence with graffiti on the 500 block of West Whittier Avenue.
3:35 p.m.: A caller reported her brother took money from her bank account and threw her to the ground in the eastern part of the city. She told officers she didn’t want any action taken and that she would seek a restraining order.
6:03 p.m.: A caller requested extra police patrols around her mother’s vacant house on the 2900 block of Ponte Mira Way. She said she thought someone was trying to get into the house in the past.
7:02 p.m.: Police arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of vehicle theft on the 300 block of Rodeo Way.
10:21 p.m.: Police issued a citation to a woman on the 1400 block of Bluegrass Lane for a barking dog. She admitted the dogs in her yard were barking and told them to stop a couple of times. She said she had personal issues in her life and left the barking citations for her husband. She said she was considering getting rid of the dogs.
11:28 p.m.: A caller reported seeing a cat hit by a car off Corral Hollow Road. The caller said the cat was still alive. It was brought to the Tracy Animal Shelter.

Here's another thought. What IF residents did the majority of their shopping out of town? Wow, then the city wouldn't be receiving the bulk of Meas E tax monies! What happens then Zane?
Don't know about ya but I was under th impression that PG&E had already finished installin th modifications ta our gas meters in town so they could be read electronically without havin ta send out a meter reader just like yer power meter.
So I really wonder if this guy was really readin th gas meters or was doin somethang else?
Perhaps he was finishin up that project an th report filled out by PD didn't really specify what he was actually up ta.
