Registration for the city-wide garage sale set for April is now open.
The free event will feature garage sales in neighborhoods across the east side of Tracy as part of the theme “Earth Day every day.” Residents are encouraged to recycle their old unused items instead of throwing them away into landfills.
Households that register with the Tracy Public Works Department will have their address placed on a garage sale map that will guide deal-seekers to the participating homes. The maps will be available in city buildings, the Chamber of Commerce, some businesses and will be published in different publications across San Joaquin County.
Residents who want to register for the garage sale have until March 25 to sign up and can download the registration form at www.ci.tracy.ca.us/uploads/0a320b49-8b66-96cf.pdf, or by calling the city at 831-4420.
