Police went to the 400 block of Wagtail Drive Wednesday night after a woman called at 10:57 p.m. and said her bi-polar boyfriend was off of his medication and trying to get in their house. The man also called police, and said he just wanted to pick up some of his belongings and leave. He also told police that the woman fired a shotgun at him. Police confirmed that she fired the shotgun, which she keeps under her bed, but fired it at the living room floor. The man said she did point the gun at him a couple times. Nobody was arrested, but police took the shotgun away and will make a report.

Tracy Police logged 192 calls on Wednesday, including the following reports:

12:45 a.m.: A person on the 00 block of East Seventh Street told police that a pit bull at the front door was trying to get into the house. Police found the dog, a boxer mix, and took it to the animal shelter.

7:15 a.m.: A person on the 1200 block of Groveview Way wanted police to check in on three neighbor children, whose father, the caller believed, is a meth user and dealer. Police checked the man out and determined that he wasn’t committing any crimes.

8:07 a.m.: A woman told police that a man driving in the area of Tracy Boulevard and Grant Line Road, and who had been driving slow and talking on his cell phone, deliberately sideswiped her when she tried to pass him on the right, damaging her driver’s side mirror.

1:15 p.m.: Someone at Winco, 2800 Pavilion Parkway, called police after two people tried to pass a bogus check. Police noted that it was a payroll check from a local nursing home, but people at the nursing home said that the woman and man at the store did not work there. The 40-year-old woman and 43-year-old man were booked into San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of forgery, conspiracy and other felonies.

3:44 p.m.: Police arrested a 46-year-old man at Fourth and B streets on suspicion of drug possession. He was taken to San Joaquin County Jail, booked and released.

3:56 p.m.: Police arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale.

10:21 p.m.: Police arrested a 45-year-old man on suspicion of drug possession after a traffic stop on the 500 block of West Clover Road. His car was towed and he went to San Joaquin County Jail.
