Newspaper reports have identified the group traveling in a van that rolled over on Interstate 580 as a group of foreign students at the Dominican University of California ESL Language Center in San Rafael.

The Marin Independent Journal reported that the group of seven students and a driver from a private travel club were injured when the van rolled over on Interstate 580, ejecting a female student, who was killed at the scene, and injuring several more.

The students were on their way to Disneyland when the driver of the 1994 Dodge Ram reportedly dozed off. He awoke as the van drifted to the shoulder and overcorrected, rolling the van.

The school plans to host a memorial service after the student’s family is notified.
