Nutmeg is a 1-year-old female tortoiseshell domestic shorthair available for adoption at the Tracy Animal Shelter. The shelter also has many kittens and small-breed dogs in need of homes, and the shelter staff needs donations of canned or dry cat food.

The Tracy Animal Shelter, 370 Arbor Road, is open from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. For information: 831-6364.
