EDITOR,

At 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 28, I went to the Tracy Cemetery to put fresh flowers on my husband’s grave. To my amazement, I saw Scouts of Boy Scout Troop 505 going to each veteran’s grave, place an American flag, then lovely flowers, and then stand there and salute each veteran.

These wonderful Scout leaders are teaching these young boys the meaning of love, honesty and to cherish the sacrifices these veterans have made to protect U.S. citizens.

Thank you, and a salute to you, Boy Scouts of Troop 505. I drove home with tears running down my face. God bless you.
