A $21 million capital budget for one-time building facilities (“City budget relies on reserves,” June 8 Tracy Press)? We don’t have a courthouse, and they want a dog pound, when we can use the San Joaquin County facilities. Rent out that facility to pay for using the county pound.
There would be no maintenance on vehicles, buildings, et cetera, and you would pay the license at City Hall.
