The lighted woodland Christmas scene in the yard of Keldon Chase’s house helped him win the 2012 Rotary Club Holiday Decorating contest.

Chase’s home at 1372 Fruitwood Way was one of four entries in the annual competition.

Second place went to Fred and Heidi Mezenski, 850 Kings Canyon Court; third place was awarded to Dan and Audrey Wlodarczyk, 700 Clay Court; and Gerado Alvizo, 1050 Zion Court, submitted the fourth-place entry.

The win earned Chase a $100 prepaid gift card, and the second- and third-place finishers received $50 prepaid gift cards.

The homes were judged Saturday, Dec. 8, and Sunday, Dec. 9, by members of the Rotary Club.

this was a nice house, i went to see them all but the one that really stood out was 1050 zion ct. it had music and everything, they were jipped, so sad because it was such a nice house. second place barely even had anything. totally undeserving
