A reported transient is in jail, accused of stabbing a Tracy woman and leaving her in a front yard on the 100 block of West Beverly Avenue.

Officers were called to the home early morning Thursday and found the unidentified woman with multiple stab wounds to her upper body. According to a news release from Tracy Police Department Thursday afternoon, the woman is at an undisclosed hospital in serious condition.

The release also detailed the arrest of Girlany Godinez-Diaz, 22, who officers describe as a transient and who they believe knew the woman. Godinez-Diaz is in San Joaquin County Jail, held without bail, accused of attempted murder for the stabbing of the woman. Godinez-Diaz will appear for a hearing Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Manteca branch of San Joaquin Superior Court.

Police ask that anyone with information about the attack call the Tracy Police Department’s non-emergency line, 831-6550.

There really isn't any crime in Tracy.Not the kind you see,or, That is reported in this paper. A small portion of this unseen crime was the Churchill witch hunt.

Crime has changed. It is different . Much of it takes place with out the participants even realizing they are part in it.

It is within the system of justice. Our courts, Police, City officials, Attorney's, Victim witness protection, Probation,Parole, Drug rehabs and in business. Everyone from car dealerships to real estate. Mortgage brokers, title companies. Public schools. Lets just say it is everywhere. In every community.

It all goes back to that saying;

"Can't believe anything you hear and only 1/2 of what you see".

I think our government rehabilitation system can work for this woman. This is why I pay taxes. Let's put a roof over her head, feed and cloth her for a few years while getting treatment then release her back into society. Let's give her a chance. She looks so innocent in her picture.

Was looking for some kind words to the victim and her family. This was a brutal, unprovoked attack, and she is lucky to be alive. No less than 25 years in prison for her attacker.

May she heal quickly both physically and emotionally.

Well, with more homes being built and population rising from people from the bay and Stockton being so close... this is what we are going to get.
