The West Valley Wolves semi-pro football team traveled Saturday, April 7, to Galileo High School in San Francisco to play the Golden State Giants, winning 27-26.

The key play was Matthew Peacock’s forced fumble, as he stripped the ball from a Giants player with just 30 seconds left to set up the winning touchdown.

Jason Winter scored two of the Wolves touchdowns, and Antoine Williams and Teddy Anderson also scored touchdowns for the Tracy team.

It puts the Wolves at 2-2 in the Pacific Coast Football League

The Wolves play again at home Saturday, April 14, at West High’s Steve Lopez Stadium against the Stockton Hurricanes (1-3). Gates open at 5 p.m., and game time is 6. Tickets are $5 each, $3 for youths age 13 to 17, and free for children younger than 12.
