• Millicent Jane Holderbein was born Oct. 3, 2009, at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Modesto to Nathan and Janet Holderbein of Salida. Her grandparents are Gary and Gail Holderbein of Tracy, Ted Swientek of Texas and Ann Swientek of Redondo Beach. Millicent’s great-grandparents are Harry and Thelma Johnson of Tracy, former Tracy residents Don and Nadine Holderbein of Oregon and Josephine Swientek of Salinas.

• Darien Mark Castro was born to Daisy Castro and Mark Eugenio of Tracy on Oct. 23, 2009, at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. He weighed 5 pounds, 12 ounces. Darien’s grandparents are Frank and Dolores Castro and Gilbert and Rowena Eugenio, all of Tracy.

• Anthony Gabriel Lopez Rodrigues was born to Erin Rodrigues and Juan Lopez of Tracy on Oct. 24, 2009, at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce. Anthony’s grandparents are Michael and Robin Rodrigues of Tracy and Juan and Maria Lopez of San Jose. • Phillip Cuellar Cervantes was born to Angelica F. Cuellar and Jose A. Cervantes of Tracy on Nov. 3, 2009, at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. He weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces.
