The West Coast Soccer under-16 Wild team will make its second trip to the Norcal Premiere Soccer State Cup championship game next month after a pair of wins April 5 and 6 at the Mary Grogan Soccer Complex in Modesto.

Kimball High sophomore Miciah Madison of Mountain House is one of the key offensive players on West Coast Wild. Coach Troy Dayak noted that she got the weekend started for Wild with an assist on the team’s first goal in a 2-0 quarterfinal win over San Juan Spirits Blue on Saturday.

Dayak said that Madison also matched up effectively with Davis Legacy’s fastest offensive player in the semifinal match Sunday, keeping Davis to just one goal in Wild’s 2-1 win.

Wild plays next on May 10 in Modesto and has a chance to win its second consecutive Norcal Premiere State Cup.
