He was born Oct. 15, 1927.
A native of Porto Empedocle, Sicily, Mr. Fillari had lived in Tracy the past two years.
Survivors include his wife, Antonina Fillari of Tracy; three children, Graziella Principato of Tracy, Salvator G. Fillari of Daly City and Antonio Fillari of Livermore; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were a son, Gaetano Fillari; and four siblings, Rosario Fillari, Charlie Fillari, Benito Fillari and Giovanna Marulla.
Friday’s Mass will begin at 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 666 Filbert St., in San Francisco.
