Mr. Bushman was born Jan. 27, 1917, in Cambridge, Mass., and was raised there and in Boston. He served as a second lieutenant bombardier in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II.
During a career in the hotel business, he worked in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Las Vegas, San Diego and Honolulu.
He had lived at Astoria Gardens in Tracy the past three years.
Survivors include four daughters, Laura Bennett of Montello, Nev., Barbara Duquette, and her husband, Joe, of Oak Island, N.C., Sue Benson, and her husband, Bob, of Los Gatos and Patty Hillstead, and her husband, Jim, of Tracy; and five grandchildren.
A celebration of Mr. Bushman’s life is scheduled for Jan. 26 in Tracy.
