The Tracy Police Department is hosting the third annual Safety Fair Saturday, Sept. 28.

The fair at the City of Tracy offices, 1000 Civic Center Drive, features tours of the police station, crime prevention information, free fingerprinting of children and McGruff the Crime Dog, according to information released by the department.

The Tracy Fire Department will perform free car safety seat checks and will have a limited number of free car seats to give away to low income families, provided by money from a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.

The previous police chief was harnessing cellphone tapping. Is the current police chief as savvy and connected to the FBI?
