A November visit to Apple Hill in El Dorado County netted Linda Gulick the March prize as Tracy Camera Club Photo of the Month.

She titled the photo “Reflections in the Pond.”

Gulick, a registered nurse at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, captured the image of ducks on the water using a Canon 60-D camera with a Canon 24-105 L lens.

She was able to capture both close-up and telephoto shots with the setup, and anti-vibration compensation allowed for sharp images without a tripod.

• The Tracy Camera Club meets at 7 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month on the second floor of the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, 715 Central Ave. For information: Mickey McGuire, 835-6758 or elmicky@coreyfro.com.
