The October photo of the month chosen by Tracy Camera Club captures a moment of achievement.

Lin Gulick, a registered nurse, photographed her son-in-law at the conclusion of the Survivor Mud Run at Dell’Osso Family Farms.

She used a Canon 60D with a Sigma 70-200 mm F2.8 lens and processed the resulting image using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom software.

“The day of the shoot was quite exciting and entertaining, and it was fun catching the feeling of the moment after a physical personal quest was completed,” Gulick wrote in an email.

• The Tracy Camera Club meets at 7 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month on the second floor of the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, 715 Central Ave. For information: Mickey McGuire, 835-6758 or
