They will take part in the 44th annual program, originally known as Junior Miss, in the Kimball High School auditorium.
The 7 p.m. program will include group singing, dancing and fitness events, along with individual interviews, self-expression, scholastic achievement and performances in a variety of talent areas. Past pageant participants will also take part.
The winner will receive a scholarship to the college of her choice and will represent Tracy in the California Distinguished Young Woman program in Bakersfield in July.
The six local candidates are Elizabeth Higa, Ashley Rodgers, Lindsey Raaker and Melissa Clark, all of Tracy High, and Mackenzie Decker and Natalie Pearlman, both of Kimball High.
Program tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for students with student-body cards. Tickets can be purchased at Elaine’s Boutique, 31 E. Sixth St., during normal business hours or at Triple Threat Performing Arts, 4220 Commercial Drive, from 1 to 5 p.m. any Sunday.
Tickets also will be available at the door at the Kimball High auditorium, 3200 Jaguar Run, on March 30.
This is the 44th year the program has been sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Tracy. Chairwomen are Tammy Thompson, 629-2085, and Patty Knapp, 815-1883.
