Sophomore Football: Bulldogs sweep league

Tracy’s sophomores won the SJAA title with their 54-16 win over the Bruins.

Jake Serrato ran in two touchdowns for Tracy (9-1, 5-0 SJAA), and Robert Ramirez ran in two touchdowns, including one on a 77-yard run, and caught a touchdown pass from Serrato.

Jacob Alvarado, Richard Vasquez and Noah Blackwell also ran in touchdowns, Anthony Karjalainen was five-for-six on point-after kicks, and Nick Tobeck also made a point-after kick.

Tracy’s only loss this year was a 39-7 loss at Franklin in Elk Grove. Franklin’s varsity team is the top seed in this year’s Division I playoffs.
