Members of the community joined family and friends of Cynthia Ramos in a candlelight vigil Saturday night in front of her home at the Green Oaks Mobile Park.

Ramos was found dead Thursday from multiple stab wounds. Two suspects are in custody and will have their first court appearances Tuesday in Stockton.

More than 100 people gathered Saturday, with another vigil planned at 8 p.m. tonight and Monday at 2929 N. MacArthur Drive.

The killing was the Tracy’s second of the year.

Eight-year-old Sandra Cantu was killed in March. She had lived at the Orchard Estates Mobile Home Park.

Her family joined Ramos' family in Saturday's vigil.

Dear Grandma, (Much Love for Kim and Angie.)

Much Love for my friend Angie Maravilla, because of her I got to meet you, a wonderful women, whom I even called grandma... She always let me in her home and you gave me comfort when I didn’t speak to my patents. I still remember the first day Angie introduced me to Cindy and Poopy her horse (its really a dog) inside joke.

Cindy thanks you for being a friend to me thank you for all the support and advice you gave to me. You were my only friend when I lived in Tracy... I enjoyed listening to oldies and watching Medea with you. Cindy thanks for the couple of times I had nowhere to go you let me stay with you and you even picked me up in the middle of no where. Do remember when I hated that poppy’s hair got all over me? Lol. You showed much me love, so with love I say, “Grandma I miss you”

P.S. Grandma remember the Barbeque at your house, Junior (cheyo) also misses you he says hello. He was also very hurt to hear what happened to you, He remembers you called us recently we spoke with you and now he doesn’t believe it.

If there's something to be learned here it's be careful who you let inside your house, apartment or trailer. I moved to my little desert town in March of 2003 and immediatly recognized it as a high crime area. Result being it's 2009 now and no-one but me has been in my house since the day I took up residence here. After arriving I put up a 6' steel fence surrounding my property. I don't allow anyone onto my property. I don't want them peeking thru my windows to see what's inside my house. I don't want them to see what's inside my garage or on my back porch. I believ the senseless murder of this woman resulted from the two creeps gaining entrance to her trailer and seeing her small safe.
