Volleyball clinic

Tracy High School’s volleyball coaches will host a series of clinics for fifth-to-eighth-grade boys and girls through May.

All clinics will be Saturdays in the main gym at Tracy High. Dates include: today and May 9 and 16.

Cost is $10 for each session. Participants must preregister.

Soccer Academy

The Tracy Suns Soccer Academy has started registration for the upcoming season for boys and girls ranging from under-6 to under-16. The academy’s coaches will hold sessions every Sunday at the Tracy Sports Complex.

Cost is $75, plus $50 for the uniform fee. Registration will take place through April at 1100 W. 11th St., Ste. C.

Wolf Pack football camp

The dates for the 2009 Junior Wolf Pack Football Camp have been set for June 29 to July 2.

The camp is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 14 and will be in Steve Lopez Stadium at West High, 1775 W. Lowell Ave., from 6 to 8 p.m. every evening.

Cost of the camp is $40 and includes Nike camp shirt, four days of instruction by the West High football coaches, a barbecue on the last day, and free admission into a West High varsity game during the fall 2009 season.

Youth football sign-ups

Panther Youth Football and Cheer is now taking registration for the 2009 football season.

The team also seeks coaches in the Mountain House and Tracy area. All team members play, but there is limited space of 20 players per squad, including junior novice, novice, junior varsity and varsity.

Registration fee is $200 for football and $300 for cheer, including uniforms and camps. All sign-ups require signed registration forms, a $100 deposit and age verification.
