Tracy residents had a chance for a close-up look at the equipment used by police officers and firefighters at the fourth annual Safety Fair on Saturday in front of the Tracy Police Department, 1000 Civic Center Drive.

More than 2,000 people were given the opportunity to tour the police station, try a firearms simulator and watch motorcycle and K9 demonstrations.

Free child identification kits were made by the Community Emergency Response Team, among other informational booths.

An emergency vehicle display included the police armored car, mobile command center and Tracy fire truck.
