Mr. Hall, 84, was born June 10, 1928, in Locke, Ark., and worked many years at the local Heinz plant before retiring as head seamer mechanic in the early 1990s. He also served as a Teamsters union representative.
He moved to Modesto in 2003 after remarrying but also maintained his longtime home in Tracy.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel Hall of Modesto; two sons, Richard Hall, and his wife, Dorene, of Modesto and Bradley Hall, and his wife, Lorraine, of Salida; a daughter, Pamela Alisea Kalebjian of Manteca; three sisters, Viola Tillery of Stockton, Dovie Brecken of Tracy and Reba Thorson, and her husband, Bruce, of Weimar; two brothers, Carl Hall, and his wife, of Folsom and Earl Hall, and his wife, of Meadow Vista; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his first wife, Marilyn Foster Hall, married 53 years; a son, Dennis Hall; and siblings Clarence Hall, Leo Hall and Pearl Jackson.
