Mr. Overall was born July 11, 1915, in Gould, Oklahoma, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a railroad engineer for Southern Pacific Railroad.
He had lived in Tracy more than 20 years.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Overall of Abilene and Stanley J. Overall of Tracy; and four grandsons.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Norma Pearl Overall; his parents, George and Elizabeth Overall; and a son, Richard F. Overall Jr.
Friday’s service will begin at 1 p.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., followed by burial alongside his wife and son in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. An online guest book can be found at www.frymemorialchapel.com.
