Last week’s Remember When mystery photo showed Bill Johnson, who, as the managing partner of Trimark Development Co., was the original chief proponent of Mountain House. Johnson learned about large-scale developments working for the Irvine Co. in Orange County and in the Moreno Valley development in Riverside County. He headed a group of Canadian investors who later sold their stake in Mountain House.

This week’s mystery photo shows a group of people gathering for a reception marking a special day in Tracy. Who were they and what was the occasion?
