Today’s Remember When “mystery photo" shows a state office opening in Tracy in 1987. What was the office, where was it located and, for extra points, who is the state employee in the photo?

Last week’s Remember When “mystery photo" showed Cindy’s Restaurant at Interstate 205 and Tracy Boulevard nearing completion in February 1974. Cindy’s was the first restaurant at the freeway interchange in northern Tracy. Jack Anastasio’s ARCO station across the street already was open. A number of Tracyites remembered Cindy’s, which is now known as Nations. They included Ina Bland, Rosie Strmiska, Anne Langley, Lisa Cox, Carrie Cardoza, Carolyn Arnaudo, Brent and Lynda Ives, Rhonda Rallios and Cody Watters and Mary Turnipseed.
