Services will be Sunday, Sept. 30, for Rebecca Lyn “Becky” Buchanan, 61, of Tracy, who died Sept. 17 at San Joaquin General Hospital.

Born June 23, 1951, in San Diego, Mrs. Buchanan moved with her family to Arkansas as an adolescent. She later returned to California and was a Tracy resident the past 15 years.

Mrs. Buchanan home-schooled her three younger children and later opened an in-home day care service. She was involved with Tracy Community Church and Victory Christian Church in Tracy.

Survivors include five children, Joanna Lyn Smith of Texas, Gabriel Buchanan of Oregon, John Wesley Buchanan and Veronica Ashley Buchanan, both of Tracy, and Amy Elizabeth Buchanan of Stockton.

Sunday’s service will begin at 3 p.m. at Tracy Community Church, 1790 Sequoia Blvd.
