Police log: Scammers seek personal information

A woman from the Tracy Veterinary Clinic, 20 W. Grant Line Road, reported at 8:45 a.m. Monday receiving a flier from an electronic waste removal company “that doesn’t exist” asking people to drop off computers and televisions with their names, addresses and phone numbers.

The Tracy Police Department received 165 calls for service Monday. The following is a sample of those calls:

12:48 a.m.: A caller complained about a couple making out at Lincoln Park, 170 E. Eaton Ave. Police told them to leave.

1:01 a.m.: A caller complained about screaming teenagers at a loud party on the 700 block of Glenpine Court.

3:29 a.m.: Ambulance crews rushed a woman to the hospital after spotting her slumped over in a car parked outside the West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road. The woman’s daughter said there were about 45 pills missing from her home and that the woman had said earlier that if she committed suicide “it won’t be messy.”

8:38 a.m.: Someone found a wallet at Balboa Drive and Coronado Way and turned it into the police, who then returned it to the owner on the 2600 block of Balboa Drive.

8:57 a.m.: A woman reported hearing noises the night before like someone jumped over her fence on the 2900 block of Redbridge Road.

9:01 a.m.: An employee at Raley’s, 2550 S. Tracy Blvd., reported that a couple walked out of the store with about $45 worth of groceries.

9:16 a.m.: A caller reported finding hypodermic needles and a broken pipe by the bathroom at Hoyt Park, 234 Dale Odell Drive.

9:23 a.m.: A caller reported that her caregiver allegedly stole items from her house on the 2500 block of Buthmann Avenue.

10:47 a.m.: Police arrested a woman on suspicion of drunken driving at 11th Street and Windeler Avenue.

1:38 p.m.: Police arrested a man after serving a warrant on the 400 block of Kavanagh Avenue.

2:16 p.m.: A caller complained that a neighbor keeps putting out his garbage can and traffic cones to save a parking spot for himself on the 700 block of Palm Circle.

2:44 p.m.: A bus driver pulled over at Central Avenue and Schulte Road after one of the passengers started a fight and refused to get off.

3:03 p.m.: A caller reported that a kid just walked in, stole a bottle of beer, and walked out of Rite Aid, 1970 W. Grant Line Road.

4:03 p.m.: A woman said her 17-year-old daughter was feeling sick after someone gave her some marijuana cookies on the 100 block of Henry Court.

4:12 p.m.: A man from the 1300 block of Jeffery Drive complained about someone sending his wife “naked pics” on her cell phone.

4:31 p.m.: A man reported that six of the community mailboxes had been vandalized on the 600 block of Ingram Lane.

6:47 p.m.: A caller reported seeing a man with a handgun in his waistband on the 3000 block of Naglee Road.

8:31 p.m.: A woman reported that a Chihuahua fell into her swimming pool on the 500 block of North Corral Hollow Road.

9:15 p.m.: A woman reported being attacked by a pit bull on the 1900 block of Bessi Avenue.

What is WITH these people who are so filled with a sense of entitlement they think they own a PUBLIC street?

Some people should just mind there own Business. it's a good thing they werent going to shoot anyone!!!
