At 1:23 p.m. Wednesday, a caller said a man in his 50s has been trying to lure young girls into his car near North Elementary, 2875 Holly Drive, for the past six weeks.

An officer talked to the school’s principal, who said he had never received any reports of such a man. Later, a cop spoke with the owner of the car, who said his brother usually drives it and is an on-call school crossing guard.

The officer said the case was unfounded.

Dad: "Son, I hate to wake you up, but it's time to do some homework. After all, you're in adult ed now and it's required.

16-year-old son: "Huymph? Waaa?"

Dad: "Get up."

Son: "Frick you, old man. What time is it?"

Dad: "Noon."

Son: "You idiot! I always get up at 2!"

Son proceeds to beat the tar-nation out of daddy and runs like a scared four year old girly girl to the park.

The "Fonz" liked to take quaaludes and laugh at his snow globes in the Chevy.

The officers failed to notice that 1 side of his sign read, "stop" while the other read, "free candy in my back seat girls"

"Had no clue"? That kind of tells you the importance of a hands-free device. If you cannot tell an officer car, she would be unable to notice ANY car (ambulance, fire engine, or a kid on bike).
