A woman on the 400 block of Racquet Drive called at 11:01 a.m. Thursday to report she returned home to see two guys run out of her house, which she discovered was ransacked. Police arrested a 31-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, and towed a Honda Accord.

The Tracy Police Department received 158 calls for service Thursday. The following is a sample of those calls:

2:36 a.m.: A caller from the Party Warehouse, 505 W. Grant Line Road, reported the front door was smashed.

9:04 a.m.: A caller on the 2500 block of Bennett Way reported a dog continues to hop a fence into the caller’s yard, run around and the street and generally scare people who live near it.

9:07 a.m.: A caller on the 1000 block of Meadow Lark lane reported a trailer was burglarized, and that a pair of bolt cutters were left behind.

11:33 a.m.: A woman called from the parking lot of the Employment Development Department, 213 W. 11th St., to report her “ex-boyfriend” took their 7-month-old child from her arms and took off with child after an argument. She said she’d call back later for help when she went to pick up the child and kid’s “essentials.”

11:56 a.m.: A caller on the 900 block of West Grant Line Road reported “talking to one of her 14-year-old students” who might have been sexually assaulted by her cousin.

12:50 p.m.: A caller reported a guy with dreadlocks and a baseball hat on backwards was trying to pry open the door of a Chevy Lumina on the 2800 block of North Tracy Boulevard. He was gone when police arrived seven minutes later.

2:16 p.m.: A woman called from the 900 block of West Grant Line Road to report her 47-year-old mother said she was going to kill herself. The caller started to cry hysterically, and said her mom was “stressed out because her dog is dying.” She tried to kill herself about four years ago with razorblades the caller said. After her mother drove off, a California Highway Patrol officer detained her near Atwater.

4:32 p.m.: A caller from Costco, 3250 W. Grant Line Road, reported two guys tried to swipe a surveillance system worth $1,000, but dropped it as they ran of the store. They jumped in a red Mustang with a woman behind the wheel and took off.

4:59 p.m.: A man said he arrived home on the 1400 block of Jones Lane to discover a ladder leading up to the roof of his two-story home and a green Pontiac Grand Am backed up in his driveway. Two guys in the car started to honk and drove off, and the man was worried someone might still be in his house. He later said his mother was inside the home and everything seemed OK.

7:07 p.m.: A caller reported a home burglary on the 1300 block of Lankershire Court.

5:57 p.m.: A caller reported two guys fighting at Grant Line Road and Holly Drive.

8:15 p.m.: A caller reported the back window of his Mitsubishi Galant was smashed for the second time.

This column includes a sample of items as reported in the Tracy Police Department dispatcher’s daily log. Additional information is based on reports from officers and other law enforcement agencies. To anonymously report information about a crime: Crime Stoppers, 831-6847.

They're setting up a drug house so they need the camera system.
