The driver was bleeding from his arm and hand from when he hit the ground. He believed his assailants were the people who called in the order. The driver said they ran south on Lincoln Boulevard.
The Tracy Police Department received 198 calls for service on Monday. The following is a sample of those calls:
8 a.m.: A caller on the 1800 block said his or her car was broken into sometime Monday night.
9:30 a.m.: At Massage Envy, 2463 Naglee Road, the driver’s side window of a car was smashed in, a caller reported.
10:45 a.m.: A woman on the 1100 block of Tom Fowler Drive said there was a man in a silver Mazda following her and acting suspiciously. Police said the car’s license plate number is registered to a Lexus in Los Angeles, but they could not find the Mazda.
11:28 a.m.: A man on the 4700 block of Whirlaway Court called police to report a missing 2-year-old boy. The man said he checked all over the home for the boy. An officer found the boy sleeping in a downstairs bedroom.
11:58 a.m.: During a traffic stop on the corner of Tracy Boulevard and Menay Drive, a 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a fake license or registration.
12:10 p.m.: A caller on the 800 block of Manor Court reported vandalism.
12:18 p.m.: On the 4400 block of Glenbrook Drive, a caller reported stolen prescription drugs from a car.
12:21 p.m.: A caller on the 700 block of West Eaton Avenue said someone broke into a car and stole things.
12:33 p.m.: Someone stole some things from a car on the 1500 block of Cindy Way, a caller said.
1:28 p.m.: A woman at Quick Test, 3200 Naglee Road, called about a suspicious man who walked into the business. The woman was giving the man a taste test of a beverage, and he pulled out a flask and pour alcohol into the drink. The woman said the guy then started to ask for her name and if she was married, touching her arm. He told her that he was a cop and that he would arrest her. An officer said the man was warned and agreed to stay away from the business.
2:38 p.m.: A caller said a man was urinating in El Pescadero Park, 250 W. Kavanagh Drive. Police couldn’t find the man.
2:44 p.m.: A woman said part of her back fence on the second block of West Beverly Place was burned. She suspected a neighbor.
2:45 p.m.: At Applebee’s, 3060 Naglee Road, a caller said four people walked out on their bill. An officer contacted a parent of one of the dine-and-dashers, who agreed to pay the bill.
3:17 p.m.: A caller on the 1500 block of Duncan Drive reported vandalism to his fence and told police he thinks he knows who might have done it.
4:05 p.m.: A 45-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness outside of Tracy Ball Park, 2001 Bessie Ave.
4:20 p.m.: On the 600 block of West 11th Street, a 58-year-old man with a $50,000 warrant for sales or transportation of a controlled substance was taken into custody. The man was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.
4:27 p.m.: A caller on the 1900 block of Spring Valley Way said four kids had set a park slide on fire. The fire was out by the time of the call, but the kids were still out there. Police found no damage and sent the kids back to their parents.
4:46 p.m.: A 34-year-old woman with a $50,000 warrant for her arrest was taken into custody at Pete’s Liquor, 202 W. 11th St.
5:12 p.m.: A man said his 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander was stolen from Home Depot, 2461 Naglee Road.
5:52 p.m.: At Save Mart, 2005 N. Tracy Blvd., a 44-year-old woman on probation for domestic violence was arrested.
6:25 p.m.: A truck driver backed into the building of DVD 2 Go, 651 W. Grant Line Road. The driver, who said she didn’t hit the building, and the business owner then got into an argument.
8:46 p.m.: A man on the 200 block of East Mount Diablo Avenue said his wife fell and injured her neck. The wife told police that she didn’t need help, but an officer went over anyway because the call sounded suspicious. The man was arrested on suspicion of spousal battery.
8:48 p.m.: A 25-year-old man with two warrants for his arrest was taken into custody at the Tracy Police Department, 1000 Civic Center Drive.
8:55 p.m.: On the 1100 block of Powell Court, two dogs were in a fight. The caller said the owner of one of the dogs is a “crazy guy,” who apologized.
10:25 p.m.: A caller on the 200 block of West 12th Street said a group of kids were shining a red laser into her house. Police found no kids.
10:37 p.m.: Near the corner of Grant Line Road and Joe Pombo Parkway, a caller said a man in a green Ford Ranger was trying to pull people over, telling them he’s a cop.
10:39 p.m.: A teenage girl who had been drinking told a friend, who called police, that she was raped by a teenage boy at Veterans Park, 238 Glenhaven Drive. The caller said the girl was passed out in the back seat of a car.
