Police went to the 400 block of Edgewood Lane at 10:43 a.m. Monday for a report of a loud argument. Someone left in a silver 2007 Chrysler Sebring, and when police ran the license plate number they discovered that it was reported stolen out of Pinole.
The car returned a short time later. Police held two women at gunpoint, and a man in the car jumped out and ran away.
At 12:27 p.m., an officer saw the man on the north end of town along Holly Drive. Police chased the man, who reportedly evaded a neighbor’s dog and was also seen on rooftops, through the neighborhood around Fairfield Drive and Maria Avenue.
Police arrested Deyundrea Orlando Holmes, 28, for suspicion of auto theft, possession of a stolen car and possession of marijuana for sale. He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
The Tracy Police Department responded to 139 calls for service Monday, including the following reports:
1:17 a.m.: A person on the 2000 block of Bridle Creek Circle told police that a neighbor, who appeared to be drunk, was claiming that the caller’s camping trailer, parked in front of the house, was in his parking spot. The person called back at 9 a.m. and said that someone had vandalized the trailer.
3:42 a.m.: Someone on the 1100 block of Riverview Avenue told police that someone was smashing out the windows of a car. The person also said that a woman was screaming and yelling.
9:50 a.m.: Police went to an apartment in western Tracy after a woman said that her husband beat her. Police called an ambulance for the woman, who was bleeding from the head. Police talked to the woman and her two teenage children but did not find the man.
12:33 p.m.: A woman in southern Tracy reported that her boyfriend attacked her with a curling iron and kicked her car as she tried to move out. Police arrived, found property scattered all over the street, and arrested both the 22-year-old man and 23-year-old woman on suspicion of domestic violence.
2:32 p.m.: A man on the 900 block of Grant Line Road told police that he found an unconscious man in his apartment complex’s trash bin. Police found that the 48-year-old man was sleeping.
3:10 p.m.: A woman told police that someone vandalized her vacant house on the 2300 block of La Mesa Drive. The woman said that the entire first floor was flooded.
5:28 p.m.: A person on the 700 block of West Mt. Diablo Avenue told police that someone smashed the window of a neighbor’s Chevrolet Cavalier.
5:31 p.m.: Police arrested a man at 22nd Street and Bessie Avenue on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly, a misdemeanor, after he ran away from the emergency room at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital.
7:09 p.m.: Someone reported that about 10 people were in a fight after some of them were thrown out of Musashi restaurant, 2203 N. Tracy Blvd. Police were called back twice, and the second time officers arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of trespassing and being drunk and disorderly. He was booked into county jail.
7:50 p.m.: Someone called police to report a homeless man bleeding from the arms in the alley behind the Great Plate, 714 N. Central Ave. Police called an ambulance for the man.
9:13 p.m.: Someone reported three men on the roof of a business on 10th Street near Central Avenue. Police found one after he ran into a nearby restaurant and gave him a warning.
9:22 p.m.: Someone reported a man with a flashlight looking around in the shed behind the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2025 Holly Drive. Police arrested a 43-year-old man on warrants.
