Tracy police received 201 calls for service Wednesday, Oct. 10. The following is a sample of those calls.
2:13 a.m.: Employees at the Tracy Press told police they heard multiple gunshots from Tracy Boulevard, near A Street. Police were unable to locate anything suggesting a shooting in the area.
7:56 a.m.: A black dog with apparent injuries to its feet was taken to the Tracy Animal Shelter after it was found near Chester Drive and Marian Place.
8:38 a.m.: A man was seen running to a red pickup and driving away on the 1300 block of Blair Avenue. Police found one of the houses in the area had a front screen removed from a window.
9:58 a.m.: A store clerk told police that a woman entered the Sprint store at 3200 Naglee Road and told employees she was from the company’s corporate office. The woman reportedly told the employees she was there to take the store’s iPhones. The clerk told police she was given 27 iPhones. Employees later called the corporate office and discovered no one had been sent to their store, the clerk told police. The woman was described as Latino, about 23 years old, and wearing a purple top and black pants.
10:41 a.m.: The driver of an SUV reportedly drove into a pole in the drive-thru of McDonald’s, causing minor damage at 2820 S. Tracy Blvd. The police advised to have the driver contact the manager to address the damage and to notify police if the driver failed to contact the restaurant.
11:37 a.m.: A woman was seen riding a horse down Central Avenue near the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, 715 N. Central Ave.
12:12 p.m.: Police arrested a 24-year-old man for being drunk in public near Burger King, 3220 N. Tracy Blvd.
1:34 p.m.: Police arrested a 31-year-old woman for driving under the influence following a traffic stop near Leamon Street and MacArthur Drive.
4:23 p.m.: Police conducted a search at a house on the 500 block of Palm Circle and arrested a 38-year-old man on unknown charges.
6:03 p.m.: A woman said her son’s bicycle was stolen from in front of CVS, 3320 N. Tracy Blvd.
6:27 p.m.: Police arrested a 43-year-old man for an outstanding drug-related warrant at Chevron, 1960 W. 11th St. He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
6:32 p.m.: Someone allegedly broke into a house on the 1800 block of Bayonne Court. A woman at the house said she was gone 20 minutes and returned to find someone ransacked the house and stole her jewelry and medication.
6:36 p.m.: Police arrested a 28-year-old man after he was allegedly caught stealing by security at Home Depot, 2461 Naglee Road. He was booked into county jail.
7:52 p.m.: A resident asked for extra patrols after someone knocked on her door several times on the 500 block of Central Avenue. She said it also happened a couple of weeks ago, and her brother saw a man at the door who ran away after saying he just wanted to say hi.
9:51 p.m.: Police arrested a 23-year-old man for being drunk in public at Applebee’s, 3060 Naglee Road. The restaurant staff said the man got angry with his family and took an alcoholic drink outside with him. The manager said he tried to stop the man, who became aggressive with the manager.
11:12 p.m.: A man was heard yelling he was going to shoot and kill someone on the 100 block of East Third Street. Police were unable to find him.
