A car was found crashed on the side of the road near 11th Street and MacArthur Drive by a passer-by at 7:34 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24. Police found that there was no one inside the white Honda Civic.

The registered owner of the vehicle was contacted, and he claimed the vehicle had been stolen. The owner said the Civic was most recently seen at 3 p.m. near East and 23rd Street, where it was left before he walked to a family member’s house on F Street where there was “going to be drinking,” according to the police log.
