Tracy police received 170 calls for service Wednesday, Oct. 24. The following is a sample of those calls.
5:31 a.m.: A 1996 Honda Accord was reported stolen on the 1400 block of Teakwood Way.
7:33 a.m.: A woman said someone broke into her car on the 300 block of West 12th Street. She said she noticed a man going through a neighbor’s trash can around 4 a.m.
10:04 a.m.: Police arrested a 41-year-old man for an outstanding stolen property warrant on the 2300 block of Holly Drive.
12:23 p.m.: A gas station clerk reported someone stole gasoline from Chevron, 1960 W. 11th St. He told police he had a photo of the thief who took $85 in gasoline.
1:37 p.m.: A woman was chased by three stray pit bulls on the 200 block of East 10th Street. A second caller said the dogs were at the corner of 10th and East streets. The dogs were taken by animal control after being contained in a yard.
1:46 p.m.: A bicycle was allegedly stolen from a backyard on the 1300 block of Holly Drive.
1:51 p.m.: A 1997 Honda Civic was reportedly stolen on the 1800 block of Tennis Lane.
2:17 p.m.: A man on the 100 block of East Seventh Street asked to talk to an officer after he found his 13-year-old daughter’s picture on an escort service website. He was referred to a detective.
3:43 p.m.: A woman did not return from her connecting flight in New York to the Oakland airport, according to a man on the 2900 block of West Lowell Avenue. He said he feared she was a missing person because she was coming from Canada and her brother dropped her off at the airport. After further investigation, police found the man’s wife had decided to leave him and was staying out of state.
9:24 p.m.: Police arrested a 31-year-old man for an outstanding warrant at Motel 6, 3810 N. Tracy Blvd. The warrant was for vehicle theft, theft and carrying a concealed dagger. He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
9:30 p.m.: Police arrested a 24-year-old man on the 2600 block of North Tracy Boulevard for an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended license.
11:14 p.m.: Police arrested a 19-year-old man for tampering with a vehicle on the 300 block of Glenbriar Circle. The arrest occurred after a caller reported seeing two men under a truck without lights or flashlights. There was no information on the second man, but the 19-year-old was booked into county jail.
11:58 p.m.: A man said someone stole his car radio and front license plate on the 3700 block of North Tracy Blvd.
