You're welcome. I dont know about lovely but it is perfectly logical. If a person cant read a sign that says "road closed" or "do not enter, wrong way" they are going to be a serious hazard on the road. It would be nice if every activity were accessible to everyone but there have to be some reasonable limits. You wouldnt want your airline pilot to be unable to communicate with the tower would you? The only difference here is the number of victims that could result.

If they don't read English do ya actually expect em ta get th message here though?

Always wondered about th emergency instructions on commercial aircraft that state "If you have trouble readin or understandin English please inform th flight attendant."

How would a person that can't read English understand th instructions?

I would bet that the car that got stuck was driven by the same idiot that moved the sign. Driving by Lammers the other day I saw something sort of similar going down. This idiotic van full of people simply ignored the road closed sign and drove right around it. They look vageully confused as if they didnt know whether or not they should be going that way. I wanted to give them a hint (the big sign says road closed, you idiots). Possible they couldnt read English since they appeared to be a group of non-assimilated Asians in a airport rental. That said though, what are you doing driving here if you cant read English? That is, or at least should be, illegal.

yepper, I agree with you. I felt sick to my stomach when I read that.

It seems we have so many who are deliberately cruel, amoral, remorseless sociopaths who look at us as props for their amusement, to be used, manipulated or to destroy others either physically, mentally or emotionally.

My sympathy to this family.
