Alexandro Figueroa was arrested as he allegedly drove toward Tracy officers who were heading to his Mountain House residence to serve an arrest warrant for an incident that happened in Tracy the day before.
Figueroa is suspected of assaulting a Tracy police officer on Lowell Avenue on Sunday, Aug. 19, though the officer was not reportedly injured.
Tracy Lt. Greg Farmanian said Figueroa was wanted for ramming a police car in Tracy after officers responded to a domestic violence call. On Sunday, police chased the suspect from Tracy until he drove westbound on the eastbound side of Interstate 205, Farmanian said.
Figueroa was arrested without incident Monday and faces charges of assaulting an officer and evading police. He is expected to be arraigned in Manteca branch of San Joaquin County Superior Court at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22.

7:19 a.m.: Two men were seen taking recyclables and items from a truck on the 1800 block of Willow Creek Drive. The caller said he yelled at them, and they left in a small blue car.
9:36 a.m.: Police arrested a 50-year-old man for an outstanding warrant following a pedestrian stop near the 1200 block of West 11th Street. The warrant was for burglary.
12:50 p.m.: A woman told police a man forced his way into her room at Motel 6, 3910 N. Tracy Blvd. She said the man threw her items around, took some of them and left. Police contacted the man, and the woman decided she didn’t want to press charges.
12:54 p.m.: A 1984 Honda Accord was reported stolen on the 2600 block of Buthmann Avenue.
3:16 p.m.: Traffic was backing up near Valpico Road and Elissagary Drive when a couple of people tried to lift a shed over a retaining wall. They were issued a warning.
3:33 p.m.: A caller reported someone broke into his house by breaking a window on the 1400 block of Promenade Circle.
5:30 p.m.: Police called to assist crews managing a sewer line break near Alene and Hintz avenues.
5:32 p.m.: A trailer containing a 2002 Honda 450 dirt bike was stolen on the 1400 block of Tennis Lane.
7:45 p.m.: Police arrested a teenage boy on suspicion of battery on the 900 block of Sixth Street. The arrest occurred after a woman reported her 15-year-old son hit her and held her down on the ground.
10:42 p.m.: A caller reported hearing three to four gunshot blasts near Duncan Drive and Martin Road. Police checked and found it was fireworks.
