Medical treatment was required at 11:30 p.m. for a girl on the 400 block of Cherub Way, a mother reported, after the girl said she took a mystery pill. The mother requested an ambulance. When police arrived, the girl admitted to taking a “Molly” pill, but refused to say where she got it.

Spokesmen for police and sheriff’s department didn’t know what a “Molly” was when asked Friday, but independent Press research suggests it is a kind of ecstasy.

The girl was taken to Kaiser in Manteca for treatment.

Too bad it wasn't an overdose fatality. Be one less druggie to mooch off her parents and society!

Since it’s slow here today, here’s something that I hope will give a good laugh.

Annoying things to do on an elevator

1-Greet everyone with a warm handshake and ask him or her to call you Admiral

2-Meow occasionally

3-Stare at another passenger for a while. Then announce in horror: “You’re one of them.” Then back away slowly.

4-Say DING at each floor.

5-Draw a little square on the floor with chalk and then announce to everyone “This is my personal space”.

6-When there’s only one other person in the elevator tap them on the shoulder, then pretend it wasn’t you.

7-Drop a pen and wait until someone reaches to help pick it up, then scream loudly “That’s mine!!!”

8-Call out a group hug then enforce it.

Very funny thanks

We were on a elevator a couple of weeks ago in another state and there was this mean woman on there with us. She was b##ching cause my child was talking to me and she didn't want to hear it. So we got off on the 9th floor and I noticed she was going up to the 25th. So when we started to leave I pushed every button. Let her b##ch at my child again. :)

Nicki2, I didn't have a clue, and according to the article neither did the Sheriff's Department, so I guess that helps give all of us an excuse for our lack of knowledge.

At least we all learned a new term, and we all know with a word that long why it's commonly known as ecstasy.

Molly is a drug slang term used to describe the purest form of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine, commonly known as ecstasy.

Yes, I did look that up. I never heard of the term before. How would like to have that big word to spell at a spelling bee?

Yeah..back when I was in high school...people were taking "Pink Cadillacs" at that time. "Mollies" weren't out yet...at least not with any of the high school junkies I knew.

I've heard of "Black Mollies" but I thought it was speed. I know absolutely nothing about drugs so speed might be the same thing as ecstasy. I'm to old now to even do drugs, heck I do good now just to remember to take my bp and diabetes meds...UGH getting old sucks

BTW doors17..I figured if anyone knew it would be you and I have no idea why LOL

The "Pink Cadillacs" you are referring to are the color and "logo" of a pressed ecstacy tablet. It would be pink and pressed with either the Cadillac logo or a car.

Mollies are usually referred to as a "clean" or pure MDMA pill. Sometimes pressed but usually in a capsule with white powder.

The term Molly is starting to take over from being a clean (no fillers) pill to just ecstacy pills in general.
