Police responded to 184 calls for service Wednesday, June 8. The following is a sample of those reports.
12:40 a.m.: A caller’s ex-boyfriend pulled up on the 300 block of Coronado Way, got out of a car with a baseball bat and started yelling. The caller said the bat was left at the scene after the man took off in a Dodge 4-x-4. Police said no crime was committed, but there has been a prior disagreement between the two.
2 a.m.: Someone placed a water-filled trash can against the door of a house on the 1700 block of Bristol Lane and kept ringing the front door bell.
5:32 a.m.: A man was removed from a house on the 1500 block of Whispering Wind Drive after breaking items within the house and causing a disturbance.
7:19 a.m.: The first of three graffiti reports were logged between 599 E. 11th St. and 204 W. 11th St.
9:41 a.m.: A small brown Chihuahua that “always chases people” was loose on the 600 block of Palm Circle. Police couldn’t locate the dog or its owners.
11:02 a.m.: A hole was reportedly cut into the entrance gate at Summergate Homes, 900 Summergate Drive.
1:04 p.m.: A caller said a man entered the Tracy Municipal Airport, 5749 S. Tracy Blvd., and siphoned gas from a vehicle. Police said it didn’t look like any theft occurred, since the vehicle in question had a locking gas cap.
3:53 p.m.: A woman who reported being “choked out” on the 200 block of West 21st Street said that she didn’t want a police report taken when officers arrived.
5:31 p.m.: A bicyclist suffered only minor injuries when he was hit by a car near the corner of 11th Street and Corral Hollow Road.
7:19 p.m.: Police arrested a man after conducting a search of a residence on the 800 block of West Ninth Street.
8:05 p.m.: Police issued a warning to people parked in the lot of Glovewr Park, 584 Pescadero Ave. A caller thought drug deals were being made.
10:53 p.m.: Police quelled an argument between neighbors on the 800 block of Saffron Drive that started when one man asked his neighbors to quiet a barking dog.
11:08 p.m.: Police investigating a report of shots fired on the 900 block of E Street found remnants of bottle rockets at the scene.

Extra patrols were requested at 12:52 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, on the 200 block of Hawthorne Drive after a woman said a car filled with one man and three women said they were going to beat her up. The same block was the location of a shooting earlier in the week.
