Police Log: Eggers hit houses on Lotus Way

Callers reported a group of teens throwing eggs from a van on the 200 block of Lotus Way at 12:41 a.m. Residents said they threw eggs at multiple houses, and one homeowner said an egg might have cracked his house window.

Tracy police received 148 calls for service Tuesday, June 26. The following is a sample of those calls.

2:38 a.m.: A caller reported the lights were on inside a vacant house on the 100 block of Kelley Mist Lane. Police checked and found a family from New Hampshire had purchased the house and just arrived.

8:24 a.m.: Police arrested a 36-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman on suspicion of battery on the 1400 block of Schleiger Drive. The arrests occurred after police received a call about six people fighting, possibly with bats.

9:18 a.m.: A house on the 300 block of West Court was burglarized. Police are investigating.

2:11 p.m.: A woman’s 22-year-old son had reportedly trapped her inside her bedroom on the 900 block of Cherry Blossom Lane. She said he refused to let her out of the room until she gave him money.

2:17 p.m.: A homeowner called to report that the person egging his house on the 900 block of Cherry Blossom Lane bragged about it on Facebook.

3:33 p.m.: Police arrested a 33-year-old man on suspicion of contempt of court on the 1400 block of West 12th Street. The arrest occurred after a woman reported her boyfriend contacted her after she took out a restraining order and told her he was coming by her house to get his belongings.

3:53 p.m.: A car was broken into on the 100 block of West Eighth Street.

5:10 p.m.: Police arrested a 22-year-old woman for an outstanding warrant for prostitution out of Oakland following a pedestrian stop near Bessie and Grant Line roads. She was booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.

5:49 p.m.: Police arrested a 38-year-old man for an outstanding warrant at the West Valley Bowl, 2365 East St., following a call reporting that three young children were unsupervised in a car. Police found the man in the car with the children and discovered the warrant. He was booked into county jail.

10:59 p.m.: Footsteps were reportedly heard by a woman inside her house on the 2000 block of Lincoln Boulevard. She called back to report it was a family member.

11:07 p.m.: A man told police a group smoking on the side of his house tried to hit him with their car after he told them to leave on the 1700 block of Thelma Loop. He gave police a brief description of the car.

11:38 p.m.: An SUV was seen knocking down trash cans on the 2100 block of Basque Drive.
