A caller reported at 11:10 a.m. on Friday, May 25, that a member of the Henchmen motorcycle club threatened to kill him in the past and brandished a knife at him in the parking lot of Safeway, 1801 W. 11th St. He said the rider told him he had 30 days to live, and the caller said he wanted to press charges.

A man who identified himself as a Henchmen member, however, was convinced that the man who made threats was not a member of the club.

"I assure you this was not a Henchman," a man calling himself The Bruno told the Press.

Police are investigating.

Tracy police received 658 calls for service Friday, May 25, through Monday, May 28. The following is a sample of those calls.

Monday

12:08 a.m.: A loud explosion was reported on the 100 block of North Hickory Avenue, but police were unable to locate a problem.

12:15 a.m.: Police were called to a house on Eastlake Circle near Dominique Drive for an argument at a party. The police found it was a fight over a misunderstanding involving a possible marijuana cookie. No charges were pursued by those involved.

12:57 a.m.: A caller reported someone fired a shotgun on the 3300 block of Holly Drive. Police were unable to locate anyone.

3:39 a.m.: Police issued a warning for a loud party on the 300 block of West Beverly Place.

4:47 a.m.: Police arrested a 47-year-old man for suspicion of domestic violence in central Tracy. A woman had called to report her husband had been drinking all day and pushed her. He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.

7:17 a.m.: A walker on a jogging path told police he saw a fox or coyote near Schulte Road and Sycamore Parkway. Animal control could not locate the animal.

7:28 a.m.: A woman told police someone broke into her car at the Best Western, 811 W. Clover Road.

8:54 a.m.: A woman reported her 1997 Honda was stolen from the 1100 block of Linda Place. Police are investigating.

10:38 a.m.: A car was broken into on the 2300 block of La Mesa Drive.

2:15 p.m.: A woman told police her 1991 Honda Accord was stolen from the Best Western, 811 W. Clover Road.

2:55 p.m.: Two men were threatening people in Lincoln Park, 170 E. Eaton Ave., according to a caller, who said they were sitting on a bench and presenting gang signs at people. Police issued them a warning.

3:25 p.m.: A woman on the 4100 block of Cherry Blossom Lane told police her 17-year-old daughter was raped while drinking at a friend’s house. Police are investigating.

4:09 p.m.: A woman reported someone broke into her house on the 100 block of Hawthorne Drive. Police are investigating.

6:11 p.m.: The Walmart parking lot, 3010 W. Grant Line Road, was where a caller said a man who had been tailgating him pulled over and displayed a butterfly knife. He told police he didn’t want to press charges.

7:19 p.m.: A caller said someone popped the lock on his car on the 2100 block of David Ernest Court.

9:48 p.m.: Police arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of domestic violence in central Tracy.

11:51 p.m.: A woman reported that someone broke into her garage and took her stereo on the 100 block of East 10th Street.

Sunday

12:32 a.m.: Loud noises thought to be gunshots on the 1500 block of Autumn Meadow Lane were actually fireworks that came from nearby on Beverly Place.

12:55 a.m.: A minor accused of a hit-and-run was released to the custody of a parent following the incident on the 4500 block of Glenbrook Drive. The minor allegedly failed to stop after striking a truck.

7:43 a.m.: A 19-year-old man was arrested on a warrant from San Mateo County. Police discovered the warrant when the man was found sleeping in a vehicle on the 200 block of West Clover Road.

1:04 p.m.: Police were unable to locate a pit bull that was running loose on the 400 block of Essex Court.

3:34 p.m.: A metal bucket reportedly filled with plastic bags containing an unknown substance was left on the porch of a residence on the 4500 block of Regis Drive. A circle and star were painted on the front door using the substance, which the caller reported was blood, because the bucket started to smell and attract flies. Police are investigating.

5:31 p.m.: A man was asked to leave the soccer fields at the Tracy Sports Complex because he was walking his dog on the fields where soccer games were in progress. The man followed police requests to leave the field but was “upset” with the city rules.

7 p.m.: A white Chevy truck reportedly drove across the median at Beechnut Avenue and Sequoia Boulevard and tore up the grass. Police couldn’t locate the driver.

Saturday

1:18 a.m.: A car driving all over the road was pulled over at the corner of 11th Street and Crossroads Drive. Police found the driver wasn’t under the influence.

4:14 a.m.: A man was lying down in front of doors in the Walmart shopping center at 3100 W. Grant Line Road.

11:59 a.m.: A man was seen allegedly hitting one of two children in a car near Holly Drive and 11th Street. Police couldn’t locate the car.

12:14 p.m.: Police were alerted to a pit bull and Doberman that got into a backyard on the 1900 block of Bayberry Court. A responding officer wrangled the dogs into the proper yard and secured loose fencing that allowed the incursion.

2:14 p.m.: A caller near Kimball High School reported loud music from a public address system. It turned out that it was being played while crews cleaned the bleachers and stadium.

2:52 p.m.: Cops were called about a person at the West High pool, 1775 W. Lowell Ave., about someone with a pocketknife who said he was “going to jump someone.” The caller said the man in question walked east down Lowell Avenue.

7:56 p.m.: An elderly lady was found on the 700 block of Saffron Drive. She had been flagged as a “walkaway,” and the woman’s family was contacted about her whereabouts.

8 p.m.: Beginning with a warning, police issued 21 traffic citations in front of the 99 Cents Only Store on the 1300 block of 11th St. between 8 p.m. and midnight. Officers also had blood drawn from two drivers who were suspected of driving under the influence, and two other drivers had their cars towed for unknown reasons.

10:04 p.m.: “Drunk kids next door” were the cause of an illegal fireworks display, according to a caller on the 500 block of Glenbriar Circle.

11:20 p.m.: An arrest was made and blood was drawn from a driver suspected of being under the influence. Police arrested the driver after it appeared a driver had fallen asleep in the drivethru of McDonald’s, 1820 W. 11th St.



Friday

12:04 a.m.: A caller reported the sound of chainsaws on the 1600 block of Holly Drive. Police checked and found Pacific Gas & Electric Co. had called out a tree trimming company.

12:49 a.m.: Police arrested a 43-year-old woman for drug-related warrants on the 2900 block of North MacArthur Drive.

3:01 a.m.: Police arrested a 19-year-old man for a robbery warrant near Almond Blossom and Yosemite drives.

7:33 a.m.: A 1992 Honda Accord was reported stolen on the 500 block of Cardoza Road. Police are investigating.

9:43 a.m.: A caller reported two peacocks in her backyard on the 1800 block of Foxclove Court. The resident called back at 11:20 a.m. and said the birds were no longer there.

3:15 p.m.: A caller reported he was robbed of $15 by three teens on the 1400 block of Suellen Drive. Police checked the area and couldn’t find the teens, and the victim confessed that they took his drugs, not cash. He said he no longer wanted to press charges.

5:51 p.m.: Police issued a trespassing warning to a 23-year-old man after he was seen in the back of CA Auto Glass, 1133 W. 11th St.

6:21 p.m.: A caller reported two men were selling jewelry out of a car near World Gym, 2340 East St. They were gone before police arrived.

7:52 p.m.: A clerk called to report a woman was bothering customers and asking for money and food at Fosters Freeze, 28 E. Grant Line Road. Police issued her a trespassing warning.

8:35 p.m.: Police are investigating the report of a sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl by her step father.

10:47 p.m.: Police broke up a large, loud party near Lourence and Morris Phelps drives.
