Police Log: Counterfeit bill used at gas station

A store clerk called to report he received a counterfeit $100 bill at Chevron, 755 S. Tracy Blvd. at 3:12 p.m. She said it appeared to be a washed $5 bill. Police are investigating.

Tracy police received 191 calls for service Thursday, Aug. 16. The following is a sample of those calls.

3:10 a.m.: Police arrested a 20-year-old man on unknown charges following a security check at Robert Kenner Park, 1850 W. Kavanagh Ave. He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.

6:58 a.m.: A 1994 Honda Accord was reported missing on the 1900 block of Bridle Creek Circle.

10:13 a.m.: Police issued a trespassing warning to a man who was sleeping on private property on the 2300 block of Holly Drive.

10:23 a.m.: A car was vandalized on the 700 block of Joranillo Drive.

1:26 p.m.: A woman of an unknown age was arrested on the 300 block of Glenbriar Circle. The arrest occurred after a man’s girlfriend refused to leave his house, took his cell phone and hit him. She was booked into county jail.

2:24 p.m.: A caller reported his house was burglarized on the 500 block of North Corral Hollow Road. He said several items were missing, including his body armor, badge and firearm.

3:02 p.m.: Two men were seen selling televisions out of the back of a car in the Walmart parking lot, 3010 W. Grant Line Road. The caller requested extra patrols.

6:51 p.m.: A man was seen lying on a bench near Belconte Drive and Byron Road. The caller said he didn’t respond when she tried to talk to him. Police checked and found the man was taking a nap.

7:50 p.m.: Police arrested a 32-year-old man for an outstanding warrant on the 600 block of East 11th Street.

9:05 p.m.: A bar clerk said a woman fell and hit her head at the Shamrock, 117 W. 11th St. He said she was drunk when she came in. Medical officials were called to the bar.

they always say she was drunk when she came in. if she was drunk when she came in why is she still sitting at ur bar. shouldnt she be drunk sitting in a cab or taxi.. yeah right trying to keep the blame away from the bar. it doesnt matter if she was drunk when she came in escort her to a taxi.. she probly had more beer from shamrocks after she came in drunk.

Let's use some cognitive thinking skills. Maybe, just maybe she walked in drunk and went to sit at the bar and fell off the stool and hit her head. Sounds quite plausible. Why blame the bar for a grown a$$ woman's choices? She's grown. No one should be held responsible for her actions BUT HER.
