Tracy police received 170 calls for service Tuesday, July 31. The following is a sample of those reports.
12:04 a.m.: A firework thrown out of a pickup on the 1800 block of McPeak Court started a fire. A resident in the area told police the fire was small and extinguished quickly. Police couldn’t find the pickup.
7:16 a.m.: Police were asked to assist at an accident after a pickup flipped over on Corral Hollow Road south of Interstate 580. The driver was reportedly conscious with minor injuries. Police were asked to help, as area livestock tried to go through the downed property fence.
9:45 a.m.: Police arrested a 29-year-old man for an outstanding warrant for a parole violation on the 2900 block of Lincoln Boulevard. He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
11:34 a.m.: A caller requested extra police patrols after someone stole a bag of peaches off his car trunk on the 500 block of Corral Hollow Road.
12:22 p.m.: Three men were seen taking items out of a recycling bin on the 200 block of East 12th Street. The men took a fridge, air conditioning unit and miscellaneous items, according to the caller, but once the property was returned the owner told police he did not want to prosecute.
12:46 p.m.: A woman’s dog was allegedly attacked and killed on the 100 block of Willow Creek Drive. The incident is under investigation.
1:18 p.m.: A teen called police to complain about his parents packing up his belongings and telling him he had to earn them back on the 100 block of East Kavanagh Avenue. The teen’s mother called police a minute later and told them the teen had locked her outside the house. Police talked to both people.
4:08 p.m.: Police arrested a 36-year-old woman for an outstanding warrant on drug-related charges on the 1800 block of East Street.
5:09 p.m.: A man and his friend were hired to help someone move for eight hours on the 1900 block of Hafla Court, he told police, but the homeowner wouldn’t let them leave because the job was not completed. He told police the person who hired them refused to drive them back to Home Depot. Police talked to both groups of people.
8:20 p.m.: Police arrested a 28-year-old woman on suspicion of forgery at California Check Cashing, 701 W. 11th St., after an employee verified with the check’s owner that a check was not issued to that woman.

Seriously?? Man up moron. I think Tracy PD has more important things to do. It was a bag of peaches. It's not like it was some expensive personal property. Grow a set and go to the store and buy more.

The parents were doing the right thing. The teen needs to grow the hell up...the mom does need to learn to control him though. Sounds like he's a criminal in the making.
By the way, it seems based on little information you can make assupmtions about a mom and her son yet can't imagine the person stealing someones peaches today can end up graduating to stealing your expensive personal property tomorrow.
