Stormy, a German shepherd-husky mix, is about 3½ months old and is loving, alert and playful. She and two other puppies from her litter, Aladdin and Strawberry, all need homes. All three are fixed and microchipped and have been dewormed and received their first two sets of vaccines. Animal Rescue of Tracy is hosting a March Madness Mega Adoption Event on Saturday at West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road. Several rescue groups will have adoptable cats and dogs on display at the event space in the Target wing. For information: 642-4324 or www.animalrescuetracy.org.

Charlie, a 2-year-old male miniature pinscher, needs a home. Tracy Animal Shelter, 370 Arbor Road, is open from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. For information: 831-6364 or “City of Tracy Animal Services” on Facebook.

Sydney, a 2-month-old large mixed breed puppy, is affectionate and loves to play with people and other dogs. She is looking for a home with a family that’s serious about obedience training; Sydney learned the “sit” command within minutes, and East of Eden rescue volunteers expect her to keep learning quickly. She and Jay-Jay, another puppy from the same litter, are ready to be adopted and can be seen during a multi-organization animal adoption event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road. A video of Sydney can be viewed online at http://youtu.be/vF2UivcI6A8. For more information, contact Sheri Savage at eoerescue@yahoo.com or 925-980-3035 or visit www.eoerescue.org.
