Cookie, a 4-month-old silver tabby kitten with white paws and a white belly, is ready to be adopted from Animal Rescue of Tracy. A rescue volunteer described her as “sweet and sugary … with everything else nice.” Animal Rescue of Tracy is a nonprofit, all-volunteer group that has pet adoption fairs for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays in the Macy’s wing of the West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road. Momma, a 2-year-old brown tabby, is at the Tracy Animal Shelter and needs a home. The shelter staff is seeking donations of dry cat food, canned pet food, dog toys, flea shampoo and puppy and kitten formula.
