East of Eden

Knightly, a 3-month-old Labrador mix puppy, is ready for adoption from East of Eden, a nonprofit animal rescue organization. Described as “sweet and smart,” he is learning basic commands and likes to play in water. Knightly weighs about 20 pounds and is expected to reach 50-75 pounds. At the Shelter

Judy, a 1-year-old spayed terrier mix, is at the Tracy Animal Shelter and needs a home. The staff is seeking donations of canned food for dogs and cats, dog toys, puppy and kitten formula and flea shampoo. The shelter has several spayed and neutered cats and kittens available for a $5 adoption fee. The shelter, 370 Arbor Road, is open from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. To the Rescue

Panda, an energetic 11-month-old female Staffordshire terrier mix, adores children and other animals. She is enrolled in obedience school and is learning quickly. Panda weighs 32 pounds. She and other pets for adoption can be found at Animal Rescue of Tracy’s storefront in the Macy’s wing of West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.
