Clouds and wind couldn’t keep West High School seniors from celebrating the end of the academic year with their annual beach day party.

Students filled the Pinkie Phillips Aquatics Center on campus as they spent the day swimming, bathing in what sun poked through the clouds and taking part in pool games.

Seniors were treated to a pizza lunch and then spent the afternoon in contests including best belly flop, cannonball and back flip.

West High seniors will graduate Saturday, June 2, at 8:30 a.m. in Steve Lopez Stadium.
